Proctinator - The Proctor Assignment Assistant

Our software takes care of one very specific and important administrative task: Making a proctoring schedule. Using the proctinator, school administrators can get the schedule done in less than half the time it would take to create it in Word or Excel. Teachers will also appreciate the times savings. Instead of having to flip through many pages to see what their responsibilities are during testing week, each faculty member receives a personal email with only his or her responsibilities. In a school with 100 teachers, this could easily save 2,000 sheets of paper.

Rapid date entry: autocompletes text fields with faculty names

As you enter a faculty member's name in one of the fields on the assignment form, the program will try to guess which member of your staff you are entering. After a few letters, you can choose the name from a drop down menu. Even a skilled typist will find that this feature saves you time.

Keeps track of how many assignments each member has

Each faculty member is represented by a button in the program and the program knows how many assignmnets each faculty member sould have. Every time you make an assignment, the assignment counters for the faculty are updated. As soon as a faculty member has been given the maximum number of assignmnents, the button become disabled - you can no longer give this faculty member an assignment by clicking the button.

Sort Faculty by Department or Number of Assignments

Sorting your list by number of assignments makes it easy to verify that everyone has the correct number of assignments. Some schools count this in terms of hours, so a single grading assignment might take 5 hours and proctoring and exam might count for 2 hours. You can configure these options to reflect your school policy. With the click of a button you can re-sort the faculty list by department, making it easy to assign, say, English teachers to grade an English final.
